Abstract: The paper presents a brief overview of robotized assembly tasks, and of software used. Examples of robotized assembly lines simulations are shown, as well as a case study of simulation a robotized assembly line for hall subassemblies, starting by the layout scheme and the process cyclogram. In order to simulate the robotized assembly line, the specialized RobotStudio software, developed by ABB company, is used. The software contains libraries with 3D models of robots, machine-tools, devices, etc., which can be imported in the current simulation file. The robot models that are used, and the virtual assembly line are shown.

Keywords: robot, assembly, line, RobotStudio software, RoboGuide software.
