The University Politehnica of Timisoara (former Polytechnic School and Traian Vuia Polytechnic Institute) was founded on the basis of the Royal Decree no. 4822, from 11 November 1920. Since1920, the university has constantly grown, now being one of the largest technical universities in Central and Eastern Europe.
Professors and scientists from University Politehnica of Timisoara and from other main universities of Romania initiated, 30 years ago, Robotica & Management journal. Thus, in 1990, Robotica & Management journal had its first appearance, being the official journal of Association for Robotics in Romania.
