Brief History

The first issue of "Robotica & Management" appeared in July 1990, being published by the Association for Robotics in Romania.

At present the journal is edited by:

    •  Robotics Society of Romania,
    • ''Eftimie Murgu'' University of Resita,
    • Caras-Severin County Council,
    • ''Politehnica'' University of Timisoara.

Initially, the Editorial Board consisted of:

    • Prof. Dr. Ing. Chr. Pelecudi,
    • Prof. Dr. Ing. Fr. Kovacs,
    • Prof. Dr. Ing. A. Albu,
    • Dr. Ing. G. Cojocaru,
    • Prof. Dr. Ing. M Gafitanu,
    • Conf. Dr. Ing. H. Popa.

In the period 1997-2009, Scientifical Coordinators were:

    • Prof. Dr. Ing. Dr. h.c. mult. Francisc V. Kovacs;
    • Prof. Dr. Ing. Ion Vela.

Since 2004, the journal’s Scientifical Board is international.
