Abstract:
As the humanity and its technology is in a continuous evolution, research and development in 3D printing started to be present in more and more industries and domains. This paper highlights some of the breakthroughs in these domains and industries. Although 3D printing is a relatively new technology, as it was developed first in the early 80’s, there a multitude of organizations and institutes that run serious research programs in different functional areas.

Keywords:
3D printing, research & development, construction, food industry.
